Hall of Fame
Tyler Zimmer was one of the best to ever play at the linebacker position for Seton Hill. Zimmer holds multiple single season and career records in that position in addition to earning many awards for his play on the field and work in the classroom off the field.
Zimmer was a first team Daktronics All American in 2012. He was also a two time All Conference selection and a two time All Region selection. Tyler earned the PSAC Fall Top 10 Award as well in addition to being a two time CoSIDA Academic All American as a first team selection. Zimmer was also named to the PSAC Top 150 Contributors.
He holds the Seton Hill record for career sacks with 12 and is fifth in total tackles with 276. Tyler also holds single season records for tackles with 121, tackles for loss with 29 and sacks with 19.
Zimmer is currently the owner and operator of Aphalete Performance and Fitness, a 7,000 square foot facility in Export, PA where he runs Zimmer Performance where he trains athletes of all ages. Tyler is also the linebacker coach at Greensburg Central Catholic and the strength coach for the Seton Hill Men's Lacrosse program.
