Christine Henderson Deneen will go down as one of the greatest to ever play for the Seton Hill softball program as she had great success in the circle and at the plate.

Henderson Deneen is one of the only a few Seton Hill student athletes to earn All Conference honors for all four of her seasons. She was a first team All PSAC West selection as a senior. Christine also earned All Region honors and was a Daktronics All American Honorable Mention selection in 2015. She was also honored for her work in the classroom as a CoSIDA Academic All America First Team selection in 2015.

Over her career, Christine finished with 42 wins in the circle and a 3.42 ERA. Henderson Deneen finished her career with 397 strikeouts. At the plate, she was a career .362 hitter with 31 doubles, four triples, seven homers and 97 RBI.Â

Henderson Deneen graduated from Seton Hill with a Bachelors of Arts in Education. She began as a teacher in the Altoona School district but has been a third grade teacher at Westmont Hilltop since 2016. This year she married Wayne Deneen Jr. and they have a son Jaxon who was born on July 12th.
