Perry Dellavalle was one of the best ever to step onto the mound for the Seton Hill baseball program.
Dellavalle was an All PSAC West selection and a ABCA All Region selection following his sophomore season. Perry was then a NCBWA Preseason First Team All American prior to his junior season.
Over his career, Perry had a 21-11 record with six saves and a 2.43 career ERA. He struck out 253 batters in 237.1 innings of work. Perry holds the SHU single season record for strikeouts with 109 and has the best career ERA in SHU history.
DellaValle graduated from Seton Hill with a degree in Actuarial Science. Dellavalle was drafted in the 27th round of the 2018 MLB Draft by the St Louis Cardinals. Perry spent two seasons with the Cardinals Organization. Since 2020, he has been a Project Manager for BowTie Medical. Perry is engaged to Jenna Gaglione and the couple is planning a wedding for next September.
