While at Seton Hill, Lintner was a four time All Conference selection. She also led the Griffins to their first and only NCAA Tournament appearance in 2009-10. Kate finished her career with 1,551 points and 840 rebounds. Those totals are the fifth most points and second most rebounds in school history. Her points are the second most scored by a Griffins since SHU joined the NCAA and she has the most rebounds by any Griffin over that time. She played in 107 games and shot 47% from the floor and 84% from the free throw line.
After graduating from Seton Hill in 2010 with a biology degree, Kate went to an accelerated nursing program at Duquesne and worked as a registered nurse in the Intensive Care Unit for three years before starting anesthesia school. Lintner will be graduating from the nurse anesthesia program at Gannon University/UPMC Hamot in Erie, PA next May and was married to Nick Thorsen this past June.
