Nick Sell's name is scattered throughout the Seton Hill baseball record books as he will go down as one of the all time bests in school history. Sell's career was highlighted by being named the Tino Martinez Award winner following his senior season. The award is presented to the most outstanding player in Division II Baseball.Â

As a senior, Sell posted one of the most amazing offensive seasons in Division II history. He hit .444 with 28 home runs, both Seton Hill single season records. Nick led Division II with 92 runs batted in while he was second in slugging percentage and home runs. He was named a first team All American by the ABCA, Daktronics and NCBWA.  Nick was also named the Atlantic Regional Player of the Year by all three organizations in addition to being named the PSAC West Athlete of the Year.Â

Sell currently holds Seton Hill single season records in batting average (.444), slugging percentage (1.032), RBI (92) and home runs (28). He also holds career records in batting average (.398), slugging percentage (.739), at bats (733), hits (292), RBI (242), doubles (59), walks (116) and home runs (59).Â

After Seton Hill, Sell signed a free agent contract with the Los Angeles Dodgers. He played two seasons in the Dodgers organization. He is currently a police officer in the South Hills of Pittsburgh. Sell and Abby reside in the South Hills with their daughter Reagan.Â
