Nick McGahagan was one of the best to suit up at the linebacker position for the Griffins.
McGahagan was a two time first team and three time overall All WVIAC selection for the Griffins. Nick was also a CoSIDA Academic All District selection after the 2011 season for his work on the field and in the classroom. In addition, Nick was named SHU Defensive MVP three times and was a two time team captain. In 2019, McGahagan was named one of the PSAC Football Top 150 Contributors.
After his career, Nick holds the Seton Hill single season mark for unassisted tackles and career record for unassisted tackles. He is second in tackles for loss and fourth in all time tackles. McGahagan finished his career with 293 total tackles including 193 solo tackles and 57 tackles for loss.
McGahagan graduated from Seton Hill in 2012 with a Bachelors of Science in Business Marketing Management.
