Purpose and Philosophy
Seton Hill University athletes maintain a rich tradition of academic and athletic excellence. Seton Hill University and its athletic department established the Athletic Hall of Fame in 2006. The Seton Hill University Athletic Hall of Fame Award is the University's highest athletic honor. The purpose of this award is to recognize alumni for their outstanding athletic achievements while attending Seton Hill University, contributions to their industries or professions after graduation, service to their community and demonstrated loyalty to Seton Hill University.
Nomination Criteria
The Seton Hill University Hall of Fame Award acknowledges outstanding alumni who have attained extraordinary distinction in their chosen athletic program(s) that brings honor to the recipient and/or to Seton Hill University.

To be considered for this award, the following must apply:
Â
Athletes
- Graduated from Seton Hill University at least 5 years ago;
- Participated in varsity athletics for at least two years
Â
Coaches
- Coached at least 10 years at the University or must be a graduate of the University and have 15 years of coaching at another university
Â
Meritorious Service
- 15 years of service to Seton Hill University;
- Any individual within or outside the Seton Hill community providing exceptional contributions or service to the athletic department and sharing the same core values and visions in accordance with Seton Hill.
Additionally, any candidate must be:
- A leader both professionally and within the community;
- Demonstrates the importance of a Seton Hill education and is loyal to the University through alumni involvement and/or philanthropic support.
