Zalesky made school history by becoming the first men's lacrosse player to earn first team USILA All American honors following the 2010 season. He was also named the East Coast Conference Player of the Year that season, finishing the year with 44 goals and 31 assists. Joel was a two time All Conference selection as well. Over his career he scored 121 goals and added 74 assists along with 188 ground balls in 56 games. He made his professional outdoor debut in the summer of 2010 with the MLL's Toronto Nationals before signing a contract with the Rochester Knights of the NLL. He was then drafted by Toronto in the MLL Supplemental Draft.Â
Zalesky owns and operates iCoachConfidence, LLC, a small and private lacrosse instruction company that specializes in player development and the empowerment of young male and female athletes. He also works in player development and as an elite team head coach with Resolute Lacrosse in Columbus, OH.
