Seton Hill University Athletics

AJ Erni was a member of the first football team at Seton Hill University where he was a leader on and off the field.  He was a team captain and also active in starting the Fellowship of Christian Athletes at Seton Hill.
 
Erni was a four year starter and letterwinner on the offensive line for the Griffins.  AJ was a three time All WVIAC lineman, earning first team honors as a senior.  He was also named to Don Hansen's All Region team as a senior.  Erni helped lead the way for Antwarn Jones who still holds the SHU single season and career rushing records. 
 
During his senior season, Erni and the Griffins earned their first and only NCAA Tournament appearance.  The Griffins defeated American International in their first contest before falling to California in the regional semifinal.
