Jordan Burkes helped the Seton Hill women's basketball team make the transition to the NCAA a smooth one as she excelled on the basketball court. Burkes was a three time All WVIAC selection, earning first team honors her junior and senior seasons.
Â
Burkes helped the Griffins to their first and only NCAA postseason appearance as a junior. SHU advanced to the subregional final where they lost to regional champion Gannon. Jordan was named to the NCAA Atlantic Regional All Tournament team for her performance. The Griffins qualified for the WVIAC Tournament in three of her four seasons and she was named to the CoSIDA Academic All District team as a senior.
Â
Jordan finished her Seton Hill career with 1,451 points, the third most points scored during the Griffins time in the NCAA. She also added 574 rebounds, also the third most during SHU's time in the NCAA. Her 37 points scored against Shepherd in 2011 are still a SHU NCAA record for most points scored in a game.
