Seton Hill University President JoAnne Boyle has named Joel Dolinski as Seton Hill's second head football coach.
Dolinski brings a great knowledge of the Griffins program as he was an assistant coach at Seton Hill during their first three seasons. Dolinski was offensive line coach and running game coordinator during his first two seasons with the Griffins before being named the team's offensive coordinator as well as offensive line coach last season. Dolinski takes over a Seton Hill football program that has increased its win total in each of their first three seasons. This past season, the Griffins had sixteen players earn All WVIAC honors, including three first team and three second team selections.
This past season the Griffins offense, under Dolinski set numerous school records. The Griffins posted their highest point output with 43 points in the win over West Virginia Wesleyan and posted the top four yards of total offense in school history. Many school individual records were also set including rushing yards, passing yards, total offense and rushing and passing touchdowns. Dolinski's offensive line also led the WVIAC in least number of sacks allowed with 6. The next fewest sacks allowed was 21 by NCAA Quarterfinalist Shepherd.
