Seton Hill closed out their regular season on Saturday afternoon with a PSAC Crossover matchup at Shepherd.
The Rams outscored the Griffins 14-0 in the second half to defeat SHU by the score of 21-13. The Griffins end the season with a 4-7 record while Shepherd finishes their season at 7-4.
Shepherd took the opening kick and marched 50 yards to take a 7-0 lead over the Griffins just over five minutes into the contest. Late in the quarter,
Elijah Bennett blocked a punt with
Drew Zimmerman recovering the ball at the Shepherd 19 yard line. Two plays later,
Ky'Ron Craggette scored from four yards out to cut the lead to 7-6 with 2:04 left.
Seton Hill took over midway through the second quarter, the Griffins used a 13 play, 71 yard drive to take the lead. The final 12 yards on a pass from
Hayden Teska to
Jayden Llanos as SHU built a 13-7 lead with 18 seconds to play in the half.
Shepherd retook the lead with a 25 yard touchdown run with 2:09 left in the third quarter.
The only score of the fourth quarter was a pick six on the final play of the game by Shepherd.
Craggette ran for 45 yards and a touchdown.
Isaiah Cherry finished with three catches.
Ritchie McCormack led the defense with 11 tackles.
D'Kairi Boone added eight tackles and two sacks.
