Seton Hill hosted Edinboro on Saturday afternoon at Offutt Field in Greensburg on Senior Day. The Griffins honored 19 seniors prior to the contest.
In a crazy contest, that saw the Griffins outgain the Scots, 336-173, the Scots won where it counts on the scoreboard as they defeated the Griffins 22-6. SHU falls to 4-6 overall and 2-4 in the west.
The first quarter featured five punts and one turnover as the teams could not move the ball in a scoreless quarter that featured just 77 yards of total offense.
Edinboro used a long run from their quarterback to take a 7-0 lead with 1:54 left in the half. The Scots carried that 7-0 lead into the halftime break.
After the Griffins punted on their first drive of the second half, Edinboro took advantage of a short field and scored on a four yard touchdown run as they extended their lead to 14-0 with ten minutes left in the third. Edinboro led 14-0 after three quarters of play.
The Scots used a 70 yard scoop and score on a fumble to extend their lead to 22-0 with 10:05 left in the contest. SHU responded with a 63 yard touchdown pass from

Julian Jordan as SHU trimmed the lead to 22-6 with just over nine minutes to play. The Griffins drove to midfield on their next drive but a fumble ended the drive,
SHU threw for 238 yards in the air while holding Edinboro to just 19 passing yards. The Griffins defense held Edinboro to just 1 of 11 on third down.
Ky'Ron Craggette ran for 69 yards. Carter threw for 114 yards and a touchdown.
Jayden Llanos had six catches for 64 yards.
Ritchie McCormack led the defense with 11 tackles.
Thomas Johnson added 10 including a sack.
D'Kairi Boone finished with nine tackles and a sack and forced fumble.
Anthony Stribling added two sacks.
SHU will have an open week before closing out the schedule on November 15th at Shepherd.
