Seton Hill hosted Gannon in a PSAC Dual match on Saturday evening in a matchup of two regionally ranked teams.  The #7 Griffins hosted the #6 Knights in a key Super Region I matchup.  Gannon won seven of the ten matches in route to a 33-13 victory over the Griffins.  SHU falls to 1-3 overall and 1-2 in PSAC matches while Gannon is 2-1 overall and 2-1 in PSAC matches.

Gannon got off to a quick start with two wins by fall to take an early 12-0 lead after two matches.  Gannon featured the #10 wrestler in the nation in the 133 pound weight class win.  The Knights increased their lead to 15-0 after a decision win at 141 pounds.  Ty Lydic got the Griffins on the scoreboard with a 10-3 decision win over the #6 ranked wrestler in the region at 149 pounds.  SHU trailed 15-3 after four matches.  Gannon then ran off three straight wins to take a 29-3 lead with three matches remaining. 

Billy Bowlen ended the GU run with a thrilling win by pinfall over the #3 ranked wrestler at 174 pounds.  Bowlen earned the pinfall at 5:25 in the match.  Jacob Temple followed with a win by major decision, 11-2, at 197 pounds in the final Griffin win of the night.

SHU returns to action on Sunday in a tri match at West Liberty.  SHU will take on Alderson Broaddus at 1 PM and West Liberty at 3 PM.
