Four Griffin wrestlers competed in the 2026 NCAA Division II National Championships in Sioux Falls, SD on Friday afternoon.  

All four wrestlers were eliminated from the competition after two losses.  

Kane Kettering advanced the furthest with one win.  He fell 8-1 to Anthony Erickson of Central Missouri in the first round.  Kettering advanced in the consolation round with an 8-3 win before a 5-0 loss ended Kettering's day.  

Jacob Houpt lost 16-0 to #4 Shane Corrigan from Wisconsin Parkside in the first round and was eliminated with a loss by fall in fhe consolation round. 

Ty Linsenbigler fell to second seed Jalen Spuhler from Wisconsin Parkside in the first round 13-2 before a 2-1 loss in the consolation round.  

Mike Zacur fell 8-1 to #9 Mike Ortega from UIndy in the first round before a 10-1 loss in the consolation round.
