The Griffins continued their two game road trip with a match at LIU Post on Sunday afternoon. Seton Hill won 6 of the 10 matches for a 22-17 victory. SHU improves to 5-2 in dual matches on the season.
Mike Soria gave the Griffins the early 3-0 lead in the match with a 9-2 decision victory at 125 pounds. LIU Post won the next two matches to take a 7-3 advantage in the match.
Ty Lydic cut the Post lead to 7-6 with a 7-3 decision victory in the 149 pound match.
Zach Voytek put the Griffins ahead for good with a 7-1 decision victory in the 157 pound match.
Ryan Walters extended the Griffin lead to 14-7 with a technical fall, 20-4 (4:05), victory in the 165 pound match.
Brett Smith followed Walters lead and got a tech fall win, winning his match by a 17-0 (2:58) score.
Christian Bosco won his match at 184 pounds by a 10-5 score to extend the SHU lead to 22-6. LIU Post won the final two matches for the 22-17 final score.
Seton Hill will return to PSAC action on Wednesday evening when they travel to Johnstown, PA to take on Pitt Johnstown.
