The Griffin wrestling team continued competition in the Bob Del Rosa Ohio Open on Sunday in Cleveland, Ohio.  

SHU had five wrestlers place in the open bracket and added seven more place winners in the freshman and sophomore bracket.  

The Griffins had two second place winners in the open bracket.  Christian Hirak was second at 165 pounds with a 3-1 record on the day.  Collin Hearn was second at 174 pounds with a 3-1 record.  

Ty Linsenbigler placed fourth in the event at 149 pounds.  Kane Kettering was fifth at 174 pounds with a 4-1 record.  Niko Ferra placed sixth at 149 pounds with a 3-2 record.  

In the freshman and sophomore bracket, Greg Shaulis was second at 141 pounds with a 4-1 record.  Michael Gibson placed third at 285 with a 3-1 record.  

SHU added two fifth place finishes.  Jacob Braun was fifth at 133 pounds while finishing with a 4-1 record.  Landon Delara was fifth at 174 pounds with a 4-1 record.  

Three Griffins earned sixth place finishes.  Gavyn McCray was sixth with a 4-2 record at 157 pounds.  Troy McClelland was sixth at 184 pounds with a 3-2 record.   Luke Boylan was sixth at 197 pounds with a 2-2 record.  

SHU wlll compete at the Findlay Invitational next Saturday.
