Seton Hill made the trip to Kentucky for the Thomas More Tri Match on Wednesday evening.  The Griffins battled Kentucky Wesleyan and Thomas More in dual matches.  

The Griffins opened the day with a 50-0 victory over Kentucky Wesleyan.  Seton Hill defeated Thomas More 29-16 in the second match of the day.  SHU is 3-1 in dual matches this season.  

After a forfeit at 125, Jacob Braun won by major decision at 133 pounds.  Youssef Abdelsalam won by decision at 141 while Ty Linsenbigler won by forfeit.  Mike Zacur won by fall followed by two tech fall wins from Christian Hirak and Kane Kettering.  Troy McClelland won by forfeit while Luke Boylan won by fall.  Ritchie McCormack won by decision.  

After picking up a forfeit win from Jacob Braun at 133 pounds against Thomas More, the Griffins won five straight matches from 149 pounds to 184 pounds.  SHU got tech fall wins from Ty Linsenbigler (149), Christian Hirak (165) and Kane Kettering (174).  Mike Zacur (157) and Troy McClelland  (184) each won by major decision.  

SHU will return to action on January 20th when they host Shippensburg and Wheeling in a Tri Match.
