Seton Hill took part in the prestigious Midwest Classic this weekend in Indianapolis, Indiana at the University of Indianapolis.
The Griffins finished in a tie for 23rd place with 36 team points.
Leading the way for the Griffins was
Mike Zacur who finished fifth at 157 pounds. He went 5-2 in the tournament. Zacur opened with an 8-0 win and a win by fall to advance to the quarterfinals. After a quarterfinal loss, Zacur won a pair of matches in the consolation round. Zacur then won the fifth place match by a 10-2 score.
Kane Kettering and
Ty Linsenbigler also advanced to day two of the tourney. Kettering finished with a 3-2 record at 174 pounds while Linsenbigler went 2-2 at 149 pounds. Kettering opened with a win by fall and a win by major decision on Saturday. Linsenbigler won his first match by major decision on Saturday.

Troy McClelland (184) and
Michael Gibson (285) each went 1-2 in the tournament.
Jacob Sombronski (125) and
Jonny Baiano (141) each went 0-2 in the event.
The Griffins return to action on January 7th at Thomas More.
