Box Score The Griffin women's soccer team made the short trip to Indiana, PA for their first road trip of the season. The Griffins held a 1-0 lead at the half but IUP scored twice in the second half to take a 2-1 victory and give the Griffins their first loss of the season. SHU falls to 2-1 overall and 2-1 in PSAC play.
Seton Hill took a 1-0 lead in the 23rd minute of the contest when
Andrea Wisniewski scored on a header in front of the net. Seton Hill continued to hold that lead and entered the halftime break with a 1-0 lead. Both teams registered 6 shots in the first half.
Indiana tied the score at one with a goal in the 55th minute when they scored off a scrum on a corner kick. The Crimson Hawks then took the lead less than five minutes later when they scored off a rebound to take the 2-1 lead.
Carolin Edenhofner made 4 saves in 70 minutes of play and
Kayla DiPaolo recorded two saves in the 20 minutes of action she saw.
The Griffins will host Lake Erie on Tuesday afternoon at 3 PM.
