Game Recap: Women's Soccer |

Griffins, UPJ Play to 1-1 Tie

Seton Hill continued PSAC West play on Wednesday afternoon as they traveled to Johnstown for a conference matchup with Pitt Johnstown.

Each team scored a second half goal as the teams played to a 1-1 tie.  SHU is now 2-3-2 overall and 2-1-2 in the PSAC.  

Neither team found the back of the net in the first half of the contest.  The Griffins outshot UPJ 3-2 in the first half of action.  

Pitt Johnstown struck first just over twenty two minutes into the second half as they took a 1-0 lead over the Griffins.  With just over nine minutes to play in the contest, Leah Kessler scored to tie the contest at one.  Madison Delauter assisted on the goal.  

Rhys Caplinger made two saves in the contest for the Griffins. 

SHU will host Slippery Rock on Saturday afternoon in another PSAC West contest.
