Griffins Defeat Edinboro in PSAC West Play

Seton Hill hosted Edinboro in a PSAC West contest on Saturday afternoon in Greensburg.

The Griffins scored a first half goal and kept the Fighting Scots off the board in a 1-0 victory.  SHU is now 4-4-2 overall and 4-2-2 in PSAC West play.  

Seton Hill took an early lead in the first half as they scored a goal seven minutes into the half.  Eliza Artell sent a long ball for Katie Pazdziorko who got behind the defense and beat the keeper for a 1-0 lead.  

The Griffins were able to play solid defense over the final 83 minutes to keep Edinboro off the scoreboard.  

Rhys Caplinger made four saves in net for the shutout win.

The Griffins will host Gannon on Wednesday afternoon.
