Seton Hill senior goalkeeper Rhys Caplinger was named the PSAC West Defensive Athlete of the Week, the league office announced on Monday.

Caplinger earned the award for her performance in a pair of PSAC West contests.

Caplinger was 1-0-1 on the week in PSAC West action.  She finished the week allowing 1 goal and making 8 saves.  Rhys made 6 saves in the Griffins 1-0 shutout win over PSAC West leading Slippery Rock.  

The Griffins travel to Indiana (PA) for another PSAC West matchup on Wednesday afternoon.
