The Griffin wrestlers traveled to Erie, PA to battle #10 Mercyhurst in the first ever PSAC dual match for the Griffins in the history of the program.  Seton Hill jumped out to a 12-10 lead after the first five matches but lost the final five matches to drop the dual match by a 34-12 score.  Mercyhurst improves to 5-0 overall and 1-0 in the PSAC. Seton Hill is now 2-3 and 0-1 in the PSAC.

After forfeiting the opening match, Andrew Schutz won by a pinfall two minutes into his match at 133 pounds to tie the match up at 6.  Mercyhurst took the 141 pound match to take a 10-6 lead before the Griffins won the next two matches and took a 12-10 lead.  Kevin Laubach won his match at 149 pounds by a 4-2 decision to trim the lead to 10-9 before Zach Voytek gave the Griffins a 12-10 lead with a 3-1 victory at 157 pounds.  Mercyhurst was able to win the last five matches to take the dual match.

Seton Hill will be off until January 7th when they travel to Millersville.
