The Griffin wrestlers took a break from PSAC wrestling and took the short trip to Waynesburg on Friday evening. Seton Hill dropped four of the last five matches to fall by the score of 28-12. SHU falls to 2-2 in dual matches this season.
Andrew Schutz won his match at 133 pounds by a 3-1 decision.
AJ Fisher followed with a 3-0 decision at 149 pounds to trim the Waynesburg lead to 9-6 and after a 7-2 decision win from
Zach Voytek at 157 pounds, the Griffins tied the match at nine. Waynesburg then won four of the last five matches with
Ryan Simonica earning the only other victory at 285 pounds with a 4-1 decision. Seton Hill will travel to Mercyhurst next Thursday.
