Seton Hill took a break from PSAC West action on Wednesday night as they hosted Bloomsburg in PSAC crossover action. The Griffins outscored the Huskies 40-28 in the second half in route to a 74-59 over the Huskies. SHU is now 14-4 on the season and 9-3 in PSAC play while Bloomsburg drops to 6-12 overall and 3-9 in PSAC play.
The win is the fifth straight for the Griffins. SHU has now won eleven of its last twelve contests.

SHU got off to a slow start in the first quarter and trailed 8-7 just under four minutes into the quarter. Over the next three minutes the Griffins outscored the Huskies 12-1 to take a 19-9 lead with 3:37 to play. Four different Griffins scored over the three minute run. A layup from
Cheyenne Trest gave the Griffins their largest lead of the quarter (21-10) with 2:39 to play. SHU held a 23-14 lead after the first quarter of action.
After the Huskies cut the Griffins lead to five early in the second quarter, a free throw from
Katie Nolan and a three pointer from
Lindsey Mifsud pushed the lead to 29-20 with 5:40 to play in the half. The Griffins would go scoreless for the next five minutes allowing the Huskies to tie the score at 29 with just over a minute remaining.
Alexandra Hay drilled a three and
Halie Torris added a layin to give SHU a 34-31 halftime lead.
Hay opened the second half with another three pointer and Trest added a layin as the Griffins extended the lead to 39-31 just a minute into the second half. The Griffins continued to hold between a seven and eleven point lead the rest of the quarter and entered the fourth quarter leading the Huskies 52-43.
Bloomsburg scored the first two points of the fourth quarter but the Griffins were able to put the game away over the next four minute stretch as they were able to extend their lead to eighteen points, 63-45 with 5:49 to play in the quarter. SHU built their lead to as many twenty before settling for a 74-59 win.
Jenna Kaufman posted another double double. She scored a game high 18 points and added 15 rebounds. Jenna also dished out five assists.
Cheyenne Trest added 12 points and
Hannah Laslo also reached double figures with 10 points. She also added 7 rebounds.
Alexandra Hay and
Halie Torris each finished with eight points.
SHU returns to PSAC West play on Saturday afternoon when they host Pitt Johnstown at 1 PM.
