Before SHU:
As a junior, Trest averaged 17 points and five assists per game, while helping her team to its first section title and district playoff victory in school history . . . earned All-Section honors by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, as well as a First Team All-Star selection by The Almanac . . . Trest was also a starter on the soccer team which advanced to both the WPIAL and PIAA Finals in 2014 and 2016 where they won a state title . . . She played AAU basketball for the Western PA Bruins organization.
