Box Score Seton Hill closed out their weekend in Louisville with a neutral site matchup with Lindenwood on Sunday afternoon. The Griffins scored once in each half but gave up two in the first and three in the second in route to a 5-2 loss. SHU falls to 0-2 on the season.
SHU took the lead in the game on a goal in the 11th minute of the contest. Alisha Herman found
Wynnsome Gadson for a breakaway where she beat the keeper to give the Griffins the early 1-0 lead. Ten minutes later Lindenwood tied the game at one when they pounced on a rebound and put it into the back of the cage. Just over five minutes later Lindenwood extended their lead to 2-1. Lindenwood took the 2-1 lead into the halftime break.
Just over three minutes into the second half the Lions extended their lead to 3-1 with a goal scored off a penalty corner. SHU got back into the game on a goal on a penalty stroke by
Molly Childress at the 49:40 mark of the half. Childress' goal trimmed the lead to 3-2 with over twenty minutes left in the half. Lindenwood then scored twice in a four minute span to take control of the game for the 5-2 win.

SHU will continue their road trip to open the season as they travel to Slippery Rock on Tuesday afternoon.
