Track & Field Set for PSAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships

The Seton Hill University track & field teams head to Mansfield this weekend for competition in the 2016 PSAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships being contested Thursday, Friday and Saturday from the Karl Van Norman Field & Robert T. Maxson Track at Mansfield University.  The PSAC has set up a championship webpage that include all the information needed for the championships.  The page includes links for live results, video, entry/start lists, schedule of events, roster, directions and more.

Live results of the event can be found here. Live video of the events can be found here.

Ticket prices are set by the PSAC per day at $7 for adults and $2 for students. A two-day pass is available for $12. All students from PSAC institutions are admitted free with valid ID.

Thursday's competition begins at 11 a.m. with the decathlon -- the 10K will be run at 8 p.m. On Friday, the decathlon resumes competition at 10 a.m., while the first non-multis events of the day bring the hammer throw and the long jump at noon. On Saturday, the discus and triple jump begin the day at 11 a.m.

The live coverage of this year's PSAC Championships is unprecedented, between the live stats of Leone Timing, the live updates on Twitter via @PSACTF, and, for the first time, a live video stream of the main stadium events. The video stream, made possible by a partnership between the Slippery Rock athletic communication office and the Mansfield sports information office, will feature commentary and video coverage beginning with Thursday night's 10K. Links to all of the coverage are available at the home page link posted above.
