The Griffin track and field teams competed on day two of the PSAC Outdoor Track and FIeld Championships on Friday afternoon at Slippery Rock University.
The teams had a pair of third place finishes and four men and three women qualified for Saturday finals.
On Thursday,
Sarah Gilliam placed eighth in the hammer throw with a toss of 47.22 meters.
Angelo Allen was eighth on the men's side with a throw of 50.34 meters.
On Friday,
Koschinya Jefferson was third in the heptathlon with 4,478 points. She was first in the high jump and second in the ling jump.
Cody Achilles was third in the steeple chase in a time of 9:24.37.
Jacy Willis qualified for a pair of PSAC Finals on Friday. He qualified third in the 400 meter dash and was sixth in the 200.
Blaise Verrastro was fourth in the 400.
Kaden Crump qualified seventh in the 800.
Haley Brenny qualified first in the 400 hurdles.
Layla Robertson was third and
Keelin Becker fifth.
Nemani Moon qualified second in the 400 meter dash.
The PSAC Championships will conclude on Saturday afternoon at the Rock.
