The Griffins returned to the track for the first time in 2026 as they part in the Muskingum Muskie Meet #1 on Saturday afternoon.  

The men's team finished fourth with 58 points while the women were fifth with 74 points.  

The women had two first place finishes on the day.  Nemani Moon was first in the 800 with a time of 2:19.33.  Mackenzie McIntyre was first in the 200 in a time of 26.01.  McIntyre was also third in the 60 in a time of 7.91.  

The distance medley relay team of Anessa Pigula, Artemis Conaboy, Moon and Jada Freeman were second in a time of 13:45.03.  Pigula was seventh in the 1K in a time of 3:25.68.  Freeman was eighth in the event with a time of 3:31.93.  

Layla Robertson was third in the 60 hurdles in a time of 9.60.  Robertson was fifth in the 200 in a time of 27.00.  Kaitlyn Guth was fourth in the 60 hurdles in a time of 9.73.  Breeona Pheasant was seventh in the 60 (8.08) and sixth in the 200 (27.02).  The 4x2 relay of Tysie Hoff, Bryce Murray, Elisabeth Keaton and Lindsey Steffenilla were fourth with a time of 1:52.43.  Murray was fourth in the long jump (4.95m) and Keaton was fifth (4.90m).  Baine Snyder was eighth in the high jump (1.50m) and pole vault (2.79m).  Marissa Manko was ninth in the 1K with a time of 3:32.19.  

On the men's side, Angelo Allen was first in the shot put with a toss of 15.77m.  Allen was also third in the weight throw with a toss of 16.28m.  Shane Plant-King was second in the triple jump with a leap of 13.20m.  Kaden Crump was 3rd in the 1K with a time of 2:35.81.  

Jacy WIllis was fourth in the 200 (22.87) and sixth in the 60 (7.10).  Adam Piper was fourth in the 60 (6.99) and sixth in the 200 (23.24).  Blaise Verrastro was fifth in the 200 (22.93).  Dwight Sarver was sixth in the shot with a toss of 13.54m.  

The distance medley of Crump, Dominic Cavalier, Roman Brenny and Shae Sintz was third with a time of 11:19.60.

The teams will run in the Ashland Invitational next weekend.
