Seton Hill hit the road on Saturday afternoon to take on #4 Shippensburg in a non mandated PSAC contest.  The Griffins got on the board first but Shippensburg answered with six straight goals for a 6-1 victory.  SHU drops to 0-3 on the season. 

The Griffins got on the scoreboard first in the 19th minute of the contest when Emily Hutsko redirected a shot from Dominique Cappello into the back of the cage to give the Griffins a 1-0 lead at the 18:57 mark of the first half.  Less than six minutes later Shippensburg tied the score at one.  The Raiders made it 2-1 with 1:40 to play before the half and took that 1-0 lead into the half. 

Shippensburg made it 3-1 1:43 into the second half of the game.  Both teams then endured a 30 minute lightning delay.  The Raiders added three more goals in the second half for the 6-1 victory. 

Alexandra Piekarz recorded 5 saves in net and Jane Eberhart added 2 saves.

Seton Hill will travel to Bloomsburg on Tuesday afternoon.
