Box Score 2 Seton Hill hosted Gannon in a PSAC West doubleheader on Senior Day at the Seton Hill campus. SHU took game one by the score of 9-4. SHU completed the sweep with a 10-0 win in game two. SHU is now 35-7 overall and 20-4 in PSAC West action.
Gannon scored three runs in the top of the first inning on a three run homer to left field. The Griffins battled back to take the lead in the second. SHU scored one run in the first to cut the lead to 3-1.
Pat McCarthy doubled, stole third base and scored on a sacrifice fly from
Nick Sell. SHU scored three times in the second to take the 4-3 lead.
Adam Ferita led off the second with a double. He scored on a sacrifice fly from
Zac Heide.
Garret Vrbanic was then hit by a pitch. He scored on a two run bomb to left center from
Anthony Fanelli.
Seton Hill added three more runs in the fourth inning. Ferita and
Matt Malacane singled to lead off the inning. Back to back doubles from Vrbanic and Fanelli gave the Griffins the 7-3 lead. SHU added two more runs to take a 9-3 lead. Gannon scored their last run in the sixth inning.
Jordan Fuller earned his seventh victory of the season. He went 6 innings, giving up 4 runs (3 earned) on 6 hits. He struck out 6.

Seton Hill took a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the first of game two.
Pat McCarthy singled and moved to second on a sacrifice bunt from
Cody Herald. McCarthy scored on a two run homer from
Nick Sell. McCarthy led off the second inning with a double and moved to third on a single from Herald. Sell then hit his second homer of the game, this time a three run shot to right center field. SHU added three more runs in the bottom of the fourth. SHU scored once on a double steal and a Gannon error. Herald then doubled in Vrbanic and
Logan Urtz drove in the final run of the inning with a sacrifice fly. SHU added two more runs on Sell's third homer of the game, a two run shot.
Zach Martinelli earned his sixth win of the season.
Nick Sell was 3-3 with 3 homers and 7 RBI.
