McGuire Named ABCA/Rawlings All American

The awards continue to roll in for Seton Hill third baseman Brady McGuire.  On Friday, the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) published its All American Teams.  

Sophomore Brady McGuire was named a third team ABCA/Rawlings All American as he earned his third All American honor this season.  McGuire was also a third team All American selection by the NCBWA and a second team selection by the D2CCA.  

Earlier this season, McGuire was named the PSAC West Athlete of the Year and he was also named the NCBWA and D2CCA Atlantic Regional Player of the Year.  He was a first team selection on the PSAC West team in addition to being an NCBWA and D2CCA All Atlantic Region team selection.   

McGuire led the PSAC and the Griffins with a .443 average.  He also led the Griffins with 54 RBI which was second in the PSAC.  Brady added 48 runs scored, 8 doubles, a triple, 6 homers and 29 stolen bases in just 45 games played.

The 2026 ABCA/Rawlings Gold Glove teams for all divisions will be announced on Wednesday, June 17, followed by the ABCA NCAA Div. II Region All-Defensive teams on Thursday, June 18. ABCA/Rawlings National Pitchers and Position Players of the Year for all divisions will be announced on Monday, June 22.

The ABCA All-America team was first recognized in 1949 and now spans nine divisions: NCAA Divisions I, II and III, NAIA, NJCAA Divisions I, II and III, Pacific Association Division, and high school. ABCA/Rawlings Gold Glove teams were first introduced in 2007.
