Box Score 1 | Box Score 2

Seton Hill hosted Davis & Elkins in a non conference doubleheader on Tuesday afternoon.  SHU took game one by the score of 6-3.  The offense exploded for a 24-9 win in game two to complete the sweep.  SHU is now 15-4 on the season.   Nick Sell broke the Seton Hill career home run record with his two home runs, giving him 37 on his career, breaking the mark held by Pat Trettel.

Davis & Elkins took a 2-0 lead with two runs in the top of the first inning.  Back to back doubles from Cody Herald and Anthony Fanelli cut the D&E lead to 2-1 in the second and SHU tied the score with an unearned run in the second.  Back to back triples with two outs from Nick Sell and Zac Heide gave the Griffins a 3-2 lead in the bottom of the fifth.  Herald's infield single scored Heide and Sam Vilk knocked in Herald to increase the lead to 5-2.  A balk pushed the lead to 6-2.  D&E hit a solo homer in the top of the sixth.

Logan Urtz earned the win in relief of starter Matt Ober.  Ober gave up 2 runs in four innings while Urtz gave up 1 run in three innings.  Pat McCarthy, Cody Herald and Anthony Fanelli each had two hits.
