Seton Hill ended its spring break in Myrtle Beach by competing in the Coastal Carolina Invitational this weekend. SHU completed day two on Saturday afternoon.
On the women's side,
Angela McCowin was 1st overall in unseeded high jump - 1.55m (5'-1") and ran PSAC qualifying time in 100m hurdles (15.56).
Nichelle McMillan finished 2nd overall in the seeded Triple Jump 11.49m (37'-8.50"), the jump is a PSAC qualifier.
Jenna Bracken was 8th overall in the 100m hurdles, running a PSAC qualifying time of (15.09). She was also 6th overall in the seeded triple jump 10.68m (35'-.50").
Meagen Carter ran a PSAC qualifying time in seeded 800m (2:22.68).
Alesha Herman ran a PSAC time in the 100m dash (12.70) and ran a PSAC time in the 200m dash (26.27). The 4x400m Relay team of McCowin, McMillan, Carter and
Nicole Malara were 8th overall (4:08.99).
On the men's side,
Derek DiAngelis was 6th overall in the pole vault with a PSAC qualifying jump 4.45m (14'-7.25").
Jon Capps was 7th overall unseeded high jump.
The Griffins will take part in the CalU Early Bird next Saturday afternoon.
