Box Score The Griffin men hit the road for their second consecutive road contest as they traveled to #21 Indiana (PA) on Saturday evening. IUP used an 18-0 and 10-0 run to pull away in the second half for a 72-54 victory. SHU falls to 6-14 overall and 5-11 in PSAC play.
Seton Hill took an early 8-6 lead on two three pointers from
Kameron Taylor and a layin from
Damjan Sredanovic. The Griffins were able to extend their lead to 13-10 at the under 12 media timeout.
David Windsor hit a three and followed that with a basket.
Tyler Bowling hit a short jumper before the Crimson Hawks scored 7 straight to take a 17-15 lead and force a Griffin timeout. IUP led 23-20 before
Zach Herman hit a three pointer to tie the score at 22 heading into the under 4 media timeout. IUP scored the final 5 points of the half to take a 29-24 halftime lead.
Noah Davis hit two jumpers and
Kameron Taylor followed with a layin as SHU scored the first 6 points of the half to take a 30-29 lead. IUP answered with an 18-0 run to retake the lead. SHU scored 4 straight before the Hawks went on a 10-0 run to take a 57-34 lead with 9:41 to play. The Griffins trimmed the lead to 66-50 with just over four minutes to play in the contest.
David Windsor led the Griffins with 15 points.
Kameron Taylor was also in double figures with 12 points.
Seton Hill will travel to Clarion on Wednesday evening.
