Griffins Falls to West Chester 5-0

Greensburg, PA- The Seton Hill field hockey team lost 5-0 to West Chester University of Pennsylvania on Saturday, Sept. 27 at Dicks Sporting Goods field. After the loss, the Griffins overall record drops to 0-5.
 
West Chester scored three times in the first half and added two more in the second half as the Griffins struggled generate offense. The Griffins were outshot 28 to 6 throughout the game. All of Seton Hill's shots came in the first half.
 
The Griffins goalkeepers combined for 14 saves.  After replacing Jane Eberhardt, Alexandra Piekarz played the last 44 minutes and recorded 10 saves.
 
Seton Hill will travel to St. Charles, Missouri on Sunday, October 4 to play Bellarmine University. Game time is set for 11 a.m.
