The field hockey team hosted #7 East Stroudsburg for the first home event on Homecoming on Saturday afternoon.  East Stroudsburg scored 5 first half goals in route to a 6-1 victory.  SHU falls to 0-4 overall and 0-4 in PSAC play.

East Stroudsburg jumped on the Griffins with three quick goals in the game's first six minutes.  The Warriors scored 1:14 into the first half to take the quick 1-0 lead.  Just over two minutes later they extended their lead to 2-0.  Three minutes later East Stroudsburg Ally Roth scored her third goal of the contest to give them a 3-0 lead.  The Warriors pushed their lead to 4-0 in the 10th minute of the contest.  East Stroudsburg extended their lead to 5-0 with a goal in the 21st minute and led 5-0 at the half.  The Warriors scored 36 seconds into the second half to push the lead to 6-0.  The Griffins got on the scoreboard when Emily Hutsko scored off a rebound in the 37th minute to trim the lead to 6-1.  Jane Eberhardt recorded 8 saves in net.

Seton Hill will be off this week before hosting West Chester next Saturday at 11 AM.
