Former men's soccer great and Seton Hill Hall of Famer Daryl Ferguson has recently signed a contract with DMV Evergreen Diplomats of the ASL (American Soccer League) for 1 year with the option for a second year. Pending USSF approval he will be able to play this upcoming weekend in the home opener against AC Crusaders.
A 2007 grad, Ferguson was inducted into the Seton Hill Athletics Hall of Fame with the Class of 2013. During his time at Seton Hill Daryl was a 2003 All AMC North Honorable Mention, 2004 All AMC North 2
nd Team selection, 2005 All AMC North 1
st Team selection, 2006 WVIAC 1
st Team selection and a 2006 Daktronics 1
st Team honoree. After graduation, Daryl went on to become a professional athlete, playing soccer for the Charleston Battery and Real Maryland F.C. He also played for the Barbados National Team. Currently, Daryl is a
DeMatha Catholic High School Soccer Coach.
