Seton Hill closed out their regular season with a home matchup with Lock Haven on Thursday afternoon.
The Griffins closed the season in style with a 4-1 win over the Bald Eagles. SHU ends the regular season with an 11-5-1 overall record and a 7-2-1 mark in the west.
A little less than seven minutes into the contest, the Griffins took a 1-0 lead on a goal from
Tristan Wilson.
Ron Klinger assisted on the goal. SHU led 1-0 at the half and outshot the Eagles 6-2 in the half.
Early in the second half,
Julian Marker extended the Griffins lead to 2-0.
Vasilis Christodoulou and
James Aubrey assisted on the goal. Just over four minutes later,
Felix Knorn scored off a rebound to increase the Griffins lead to 3-0. Lock Haven cut the lead to 3-1 with a goal with 27:34 left. With about 21 minutes left, Aubrey scored the fourth Griffin goal.
The Griffins finished second in the PSAC West with 22 points. Lock Haven finished third.
Seton Hill will host a PSAC Quarterfinal on Monday afternoon at 1:30 PM. SHU will host the third seed out of the PSAC East.
