After earning their tenth PSAC Tournament appearance in 12 seasons, the Griffin men's soccer team earned honors from the PSAC on their All PSAC West Teams. The awards were released by the league on Wednesday afternoon and are nominated and voted on by the league's head coaches.
Six members of the team earned All PSAC West honors with four first team selections and two second team selections. Sophomore
Ron Klinger was a first team selection at defender. Junior
James Aubrey was a first team selection at forward. Seniors
Julian Marker and
Vasilis Christodoulou were first team selections at midfield. Freshman
Felix Knorn was a second team selection at defense. Sophomore
Rowan Aisenbrey was a second team selection at forward.
Marker is now a three time All PSAC West selection with two first team selections. Aubrey, Klinger and Christodoulou are all two time All PSAC West selection.
Aubrey led the Griffins with 11 goals. He added two assists. Aubrey was third in the PSAC in goals. Marker finished the season with four goals and a team leading five assists. Christodoulou finished the season with two goals and four assists. Klinger led a SHU backline and added an assist. Knorn scored three goals and added two assists. Aisenbrey also finished with four goals and a team leading five assists.
