Box Score The dream became a reality on Sunday afternoon as the Griffins earned their first ever NCAA Division II Baseball Championships appearance after 3-0 victory over Millersville in the Atlantic Regional final to advance to Cary, NC.

Brandon Jossey to give the Griffins a 2-0 lead. SHU continued to add on in the sixth.
Cody Herald doubled to the left center field gap with one out. He moved to third base on a wild pitch and scored on a perfectly executed squeeze play by
Matt Malacane to give SHU the 3-0 lead.
Millersville got a one out double in the eighth but
Brett Sullivan got a strikeout looking and a foul out to Malacane to set down the Marauders. Millersville got a leadoff double in the ninth but Sullivan settled down and got a groundout, flyout and a strikeout to end the contest and send the Griffins to Cary.
Brett Sullivan went the distance to earn his eighth victory of the season. He scattered 8 hits for the complete game shutout. He struck out 4 hitters and walked just one.
