Box Score 2 Seton Hill hosted Gannon University in a PSAC West doubleheader on Tuesday afternoon. The Griffins made quick work of Gannon in game one, winning 5-1 in one hour and a half. Seton Hill completed the sweep with a 4-2 win in game two to run the Griffins winning streak to nine games. SHU becomes the first PSAC school to reach the 20 win mark and is now 20-9 overall and 9-1 in PSAC West play.
The Griffins scored three times in the bottom of the second.
Garret Vrbanic singled in
Chris Miller. Vrbanic then scored on a ground out from
Brandon Jossey.
Brendan Costantino made it 3-0 with an RBI single. Miller increased the lead to 4-0 with a sacrifice fly in the third inning. Costantino doubled to lead off the fifth and scored on a sac fly from
Taylor Schmidt. Gannon got a run back in the top of the sixth to cut the lead to 5-1.
Brett Sullivan earned his sixth win of the season. He went the distance, giving up 5 hits and striking out 4.

Chris Miller gave the Griffins a 2-0 lead with a double in the bottom of the first of game two. Gannon got one of the runs back in the top of the third. Gannon tied the score with a run in the top of the fifth.
Brendan Costantino walked, stole second and scored on two wild pitches to give SHU a 3-2 lead after five innings.
Anthony Fanelli doubled in
Nick Sell to increase the Griffins lead to 4-2.
Mike Bittel earned the victory in relief.
Jesse Cooper threw a scoreless seventh for his ninth save.
Anthony Fanelli was the lone Griffin with two hits.
The Griffins will look extend their winning streak on Friday when they travel to Clarion for a PSAC West doubleheader.
