The Griffin baseball team returned to Auburndale, FL and the Lake Myrtle Sports Complex for a doubleheader with GLIAC foe Tiffin on Monday morning.  Seton Hill scored three runs in the fifth inning and used the outstanding pitching of Brett Sullivan for a 3-1 victory in game one.  Brendan Costantino's three run homer highlighted a four run fifth inning in a 5-1 victory which completed the sweep.  SHU improves to 6-5 on the season.

Tiffin took a 1-0 lead in the top of the fourth with an unearned run.  The Griffins took the lead with three runs in the bottom of the fifth.  Brandon Jossey led off with a single and moved to second on a stolen base.  Jesse Cooper then singled to right field and took second base on the play when the right fielder missed the cutoff man on his throw to home.  Taylor Schmidt then doubled past a diving first baseman to drive in two runs.  After Brendan Costantino was hit by a pitch, Nick Sell bunted the runners over.  Josh Forbes then made it 3-1 with an RBI single.  Griffin starter Brett Sullivan then sat down Tiffin 1-2-3 in both the sixth and seventh innings to close out the contest.
