Box Score After a week off, the Griffins returned to action with a PSAC West road contest at Pitt Johnstown. UPJ pulled away in the second half for an 83-61 victory. SHU falls to 1-5 overall and 0-3 in PSAC play.
UPJ led 11-8 at the first media timeout of the contest. UPJ built their lead to 20-8 before
Noah Davis hit a three pointer to cut the lead to 20-11 at the under 12 media timeout. A layin from
Trevor Blondin and a three point play from Davis cut the UPJ lead to 29-21 with just over 7 minutes to play in the half. The Mountain Cats went on a 10-2 run to extend their lead to 39-23 with just over three minutes to play in the half. UPJ took a 42-27 lead into the halftime break. Davis led SHU with 13 points.
UPJ extended its lead to 48-31 at the first media timeout of the second half.
David Windsor hit a layup to cut the Cats lead to 57-39 with 11:18 left in the second half. The Mountain Cats continued to add onto its lead for the rest of the second half.
Noah Davis led the Griffins with 16 points.
David Windsor and
Trevor Blondin each added 10 points.
Seton Hill will take a week of for finals before returning to the court on December 16
th when they host Kutztown in PSAC Crossover action.
