The field hockey team completed its trip to St Charles, Missouri with a matchup with the host Lindenwood on Sunday afternoon.  SHU gave up 4 goals like they did on Saturday to Bellarmine but could not score any goals as they were shutout by a 4-0 score.  SHU drops to 0-7 on the season.

Lindenwood scored just over two minutes into the first half.  They took a 2-0 lead with just under 10 minutes to play in the first half.  Lindenwood extended their lead to 3-0 with a goal 59 seconds into the second half.  Lindenwood closed out the scoring with a goal in the 51st minute.  Alexandra Piekarz started in net and gave up 3 goals and made 5 saves.  Jane Eberhardt gave up 1 goal and made 4 saves in relief.

SHU will travel to Indiana next Saturday for a 7 PM start.
