Box Score

The Griffin field hockey team traveled to Bloomsburg for a PSAC matchup on Tuesday afternoon.  Seton Hill was shutout by a 4-0 score.  SHU falls to 0-13 overall and 0-11 in PSAC play

Bloomsburg opened the scoring with a goal in the 7th minute of the contest to take a 1-0 lead.  The Huskies carried that 1-0 lead into the halftime break.  Bloomsburg made it 2-0 with a goal 3:56 into the second period.  Less than five minutes later the Huskies scored again to increase their lead to 3-0.  The Huskies closed ou the scoring with a goal on a penalty stroke.

Kayla Chapman had 2 defensive saves in the contest.  Jessica Hefferon added 1.  Alexandra Piekarz made 3 saves in cage.  SHU will host Kutztown on Saturday at 11 AM.
