Box Score

The field hockey team made the long trip to East Stroudsburg on Saturday afternoon for a PSAC battle.  The #8 Warriors scored five times in the first half in route to a 5-0 victory.  SHU falls to 0-12 overall and 0-10 in PSAC play. 

Thw Warriors scored twice in a four minute span to take a 2-0 lead, just under 20 minutes into the first half.  Ten minutes later East Stroudsburg scored to increase their lead to 3-0.  Less than two minutes later they found the back of the net to increase their lead to 4-0.  The Warriors got their final goal of the contest with less than one minute to play in the first half. 

Jane Eberhardt gave up all 5 goals but made 7 saves in the first half.  Alexandra Piekarz recorded 4 saves in the second half.

SHU will travel to Bloomsburg on Tuesday.
