Greensburg PA- The Griffins lost to the undefeated IUP Hawks 56-54 on Saturday evening in the McKenna Center. The Griffins jumped out to a 20-12 lead with 10:10 to play in the first half. IUP ended the half on a 19-6 run to take a 36-31 halftime lead. The Griffins (now 5-3 overall and 2-2 in PSAC) played the Hawks close never trailing by more than 9 points in the second half. Nate Perry misses hits a 3 point shot to win the game after a pass from
Max Kenyi with no time left in the contest. Never the less, a great attempt and better inbound play to produce the look.
